Protesting BJP workers detainedTwo BJP youth workers were detained by Mysuru police on Friday as they were headed to the residence of KPCC spokesperson M Laxmana. They were accused of protesting against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and shouting slogans against him, alleging that he was speaking poorly about senior BJP leaders. The argument between the BJP workers and the police grew heated, and the police stopped the protesters from marching towards Laxmana's house. The protesters were later released without being charged.
