Pre-surgery Covid test, mask rule make a comeback at Kolkata hospitals
With the Covid-19 spike showing no signs of immediate slowdown, hospitals across the city have started testing symptomatic patients before surgical procedures or initiating treatment for any other ailment. Hospitals are also resorting to mask mandate and other Covid-appropriate behaviour.
