Potato price breaches Rs 40/kg in Kolkata
The Chandramukhi variety of potato having touched Rs 40 per kilo in city markets, the tuber-staple diet of households in West Bengal has now started pinching the pockets. Prices are, however, likely to soften by the end of the week.
