Poor Apr rain causes arid conditions in 84% of 733 dists
Below normal rainfall in April caused ‘aridity’ to sweep over vast swathes of India, resulting in dry conditions to prevail in nearly 84% of districts across the country during April 21-27 this year, IMD’s Aridity Anomaly Index has revealed.
