Police tie up with schools, colleges to fix parking issues
The police in Pune have partnered with educational institutions to provide parking spaces for Ganeshotsav celebrations. This initiative aims to address the parking problem in the central part of the city, where Manache Ganapati mandals are located. Around 1,500 vehicles can be parked in the schools and colleges that have been tied up with. In addition, the police will implement road closures and diversions to manage the traffic flow during the festival. They have also requested PMPML to use minibuses on Ganapati routes to reduce congestion.
