Plastic string injuries: 2 foreign students among 4 land in hosp
A 60-year-old man's throat was cut after the string got entangled in the neck area. Two foreign students, identified as Abraham and Rafila, were brought to a government hospital in Samrala in injured condition on Thursday evening. They were going on a motorcycle when plastic thread got entangled around Abraham's body because of which he lost his balance of the motorcycle and fell down. The doctor treating them said Abraham received string injuries and required more than 15 stitches. Rafila, who was riding pillion, was injured in the accident. Paramveer, a delivery boy from Samrala, was also injured after plastic thread got entangled around his body. He was going to Samrala on his motorcycle when the incident occurred and reportedly got 78 stitches on his face.
