Nor’wester hits Kolkata, lasts less than a minute
A nor’wester with a wind speed of 46km/hour struck Kolkata on a warm Sunday evening even as the maximum temperature soared past 30 degrees for the second consecutive day. Kolkata recorded a maximum temperature of 31.5°C. It will remain warm for the next 48 hours, said the Met officials.
