No poison in Arjun Chaurasia body: Kolkata Cops
The special enquiry team (SET) — that was formed to probe into the death of BJP Yuva Morcha organiser Arjun Chaurasia at Cossipore in May — on Thursday claimed to have found that the deceased had no poison or alcohol traces in his body at the time of death. This was revealed in the viscera report that has now reached Lalbazar. The viscera of Chaurasia was preserved earlier to ascertain whether he had been poisoned. The final post-mortem report indicated earlier that Chaurasia had died by suicide and that no homicide angle could be established as claimed by the BJP. “This report will further bolster our probe findings,” said a member of the SET.
