New scorpion species found in western ghats
A new species of scorpion — belonging to genus chiromachetes — has been discovered by researchers from Thackeray Wildlife Foundation. This species has been named chiromachetes agasthyamalaiensis as it is endemic to the agasthyamalai mountain range in the western ghats.
