Mysuru police intensify drive to collect traffic fines
Mysuru city police have intensified verifying past cases booked against vehicles at traffic junctions. Cops are booking cases against traffic rule violators both on the spot as well as with the help of cctv for various traffic violations. Fines are collected on the spot for cases booked on the spot while for the offences to which notices are sent to the registered residential addresses of the vehicle owners, fine payments are delayed. Police have now intensified checking of vehicle registration numbers at traffic junctions and during drunken driving drives to verify pending cases of fines.
