Met predicts 70-110 mm rain in Kolkata
The Met office has predicted heavy showers in Kolkata on August 10 and 11 under the impact of a low-pressure triggered by a cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal. The rain may be accompanied by surface wind at a speed of 40-50 km/hr at one or two places. On one of the two days, Kolkata may receive 70-110 mm rain.
