Member of Philippines-based extortion gang injured in shootout with police in Ludhiana
A member of an extortion gang, allegedly being operated from Philippines, was injured during a shootout with the police in Jagraon area on Thursday evening. According to police, the gangster, identified as Jagtar Singh Jagga (38) of Feruke village in Ferozepur, and his unidentified accomplice had come to collect extortion money from a trader in Jagraon.
