Mega blood donation camp organisedA blood donation camp was organized by a team from Kanpur's IIT Kanpur to celebrate the 74th Republic Day. The camp was held at three locations- IIT Kanpur's campus, Motijheel Metro Station, and Kanpur University Metro Station. The camp was inaugurated by Arvind Singh, Project Director for Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, and Sarveshwar Shukla, Joint Commissioner of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Professor Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur, and G Ganesh Shankar, Director of the G.S.V.M. Medical College. 300 people volunteered to donate blood under the initiative. The medical professionals' team praised Team Techkriti's efforts and urged people to donate blood at prescribed intervals. They also dispelled some common myths related to blood donation.
