Man held for defacing Gandhi statue in Kolhapur
The police arrested a man for allegedly defacing the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Papachi Tickti. The suspect’s relatives claim he is mentally unstable. The police are verify the claim. Sections of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1991 have been invoked against the suspect.
