Man arrested for placing bets on IPL matchesThe police arrested a man who was placing bets on IPL matches in the Rail Bazar area of the city, on Friday. The police also recovered cash and betting slips from possession of the accused.The accused was booked under relevant sections of IPC and Gambling act and was sent to jail.
