Maha: Rain toll up; crops on 83k ha damaged
Reports of rain-related deaths — mostly from Nagpur and Nashik — and crop loss on 83,000 hectare continued to pour in as heavy showers pounded several parts of Maharashtra on Tuesday. At least three rivers in the state have started flowing above the flood warning levels.
