Maha: Panel favours up to 27% OBC quota in local polls
Maharashtra's application filed in the Supreme Court on Saturday through advocates Rahul Chitnis and Sachin Patil said going by the Banthia Commission report, the state has "fully complied with the triple test", including the 50% limit enunciated by the SC on reservations, and is thus "entitled to reserve seats in local bodies for OBCs".
