Maha: BJP fields Narwekar for speaker, Cong questions poll
BJP on Friday nominated Colaba MLA Rahul Narwekar for elections to the speaker's post on July 3. But Congress legislature party leader Balasaheb Thorat took objection, saying elections should not be held when the amended rules pertaining to the election are pending before the Supreme Court.
