Lonavla to get Rs 333 cr skywalk akin to one in Arizona’s Grand Canyon
Arizona's Grand Canyon skywalk plan for a glass skywalk in Lonavla has been cleared by the PMRDA's high-powered committee. The skywalk will connect Lion's Point with Tiger Point and is expected to cost Rs 333.57 crore. The project will be ready within two-and-a-half years and will be executed at Kurwande village in Lonavla. The entire project will cover an area of 15 hectares and will include a bridge, a glass skywalk, adventure sports facilities, a food park, parking facilities, and an amphitheatre. The Lonavla glass skywalk will attract tourists with its picturesque settings and proximity to major urban centres.
