Kudla pilot heads Operation Ganga
“Seeing smiles on the faces of students after landing in India gave me joy knowing I did my duty in helping my countrymen, and felt a strong sense of patriotism.” These were words of Captain Michael Saldanha, pilot with Air India Express, who is one of the captains, who commanded flights under Operation Ganga, to evacuate stranded medical students in war-torn Ukraine.
