KSET: Panel formed to probe ‘graft’The Higher Education Department has formed a three-member inquiry committee to investigate allegations of rampant corruption in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) held between 2019 and 2021. The committee is directed to file a detailed report in a month's time. One of the members of the committee is MP Pratap Simha, who has lodged a complaint with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the state government. It is alleged that the test is a Rs 300 crore scam. Other members of the committee are Shailaja Vr registrar, Uom and Uom finance officer, Sangeetha Gajanana Bhat.
