Kolkata: Extended tax holiday for CNG, electric vehicles 
Transport secretary Saumitra Mohan's announcement of tax holiday extension was delayed by the election model code of conduct. This extension aims to promote clean-fuel vehicles by offering exemptions and incentives until March 31, 2025, to reduce ambient air pollution in the city.
