Kolkata cops save TV actor after suicide attempt
A television actor-cum-model who had taken sleeping pills to kill herself was rescued by Purba Jadavpur police on Saturday after her friends alerted cops following a post she made on social media. Cops broke open the door and took the unconscious woman to a hospital where doctors pumped her stomach before declaring that she was out of danger. Police said she had issues with her family, which had refused to help her open a boutique.
