Kolkata: BMC board’s first meet focuses on plastic ban
The Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to launch a drive to ban use of plastic with thickness less than 75 microns. It was noticed during monsoon last year that the sewerage and drainage lines across Salt Lake and Rajarhat were heavily clogged with plastic waste.
