Kolkata: 84,000 stray dogs to be sterilized in six months
The KMC is set to vaccinate and sterilise 84,000 stray dogs in six months, the largest ever drive taken to control the canine population and ensure they do not cause rabies. The project is part funded by Animal Welfare Board under the ministry of environment and forest.
