Kodagu DC takes stock of progress on restoration of Madikeri Fort
Close on the heels of a direction issued by the high court seeking a report on the status of restoration of the historic Madikeri Fort by January 9, 2023, Kodagu deputy commissioner Sateesha BC on Friday took stock of ongoing work at the site. Among those who accompanied the DC during this tour of inspection was retired IAS officer JS Virupakshaiah, who petitioned the high court expressing concerns over the structural stability of the fort.
