Key bills passed without debate in Karnataka assembly 
The Karnataka assembly, despite opposition protests, passed two major bills: one for a revenue commissionerate to improve land revenue administration and another to move Nandi Hills administration to the tourism department. Additional legislation on medical council elections and Renuka Yellamma pilgrimage development was also approved.
