Karnataka: Girls in Puttur high school sit without hijab in class
It appears as though the earnest efforts of the Puttur block education officer (BEO) Lokesh C, who decided to mediate between the leaders of the Hindu and Muslim communities to end the impasse over the rights of girls from the latter community don the hijab, have paid off.
