Kanpur Metro completes one year of operationThe Kanpur metro has been running for one year and it has been getting full cooperation and support from the people of the industrial city. The metro has also gifted the city wide roads regularly maintained green corridors and a beautiful infrastructure. Under upmrc’s commendable work’ campaign, the staff security personnel of the metro system have shown integrity and safely returned the lost items to 132 commuters so far. Additionally, the metro is being preferred for celebrating corporate events. On this occasion, the managing director of upmrc, Sushil Kumar, while congratulating the people of Kanpur, said “the support and cooperation of the people of the city is our strength our aim is to provide a safe, easy and convenient means of public transport to the city of Kanpur. With expectation of your cooperation in future, congratulations to all of you on the anniversary of the commuter services of Kanpur Metro.”
