Kanpur girl held hostage, assaulted by friend in city
An 18-year-old girl from the city's Gujaini area has accused a Muslim youth of luring her to Lucknow and holding her hostage for 25 days. She has alleged that she was forced to convert to Islam and when she refused, she was beaten and threatened that she would be burnt alive.
