Kannauj BJP MP, 51 others booked for assaulting cops
: The police have filed a case against BJP's Kannauj MP Subrat Pathak, nine named and 42 unidentified persons in connection with the Friday night incident wherein three sub-inspectors and four constables were injured when a mob allegedly led by the MP attacked them. The attack came after the arrest of the four youths accused of kidnapping a mobile shop owner from Auras area of Unnao on Friday evening.
