Only 28 of the 10,710 persons tested for Covid during the Bengal government’s three-day random-sampling ‘sentinel survey’ have tested positive, throwing up a 0. 2% positivity rate, a shade below the overall positivity rate of 0. 5%, in preliminary but strongly suggestive results.
