Inmate attempts suicide in central jail bathroomAn inmate of Ludhiana Central Jail, Tajpur road, allegedly attempted suicide inside the jail on Monday. He hanged himself from the grill of a bathroom using a piece of cloth. However, other inmates saw him and raised an alarm. The inmate was rescued and taken to the civil hospital.
