IMD forecasts cloudy skies in city, increase in minimum temperatures - Pune
Minimum temperatures in Pune are set to rise in the coming days as cloudy skies are likely to return, according to a forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On Sunday, the minimum temperature in Shivajinagar dropped to 11.3 °C, the lowest so far in December. However, the IMD predicts that the minimum temperature will rise further to 15 °C by December 31. Partly cloudy skies are expected from December 30 onwards, which will be associated with higher minimum temperatures. The IMD also forecasts a wet spell from December 30, 2023 to January 2, 2024, due to the influence of a Western Disturbance and lower-level easterly winds.
