Heat fuels more water use by industries in Nashik district
The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Nashik, said the water consumption in more than 4,500 industrial units spread across the district has increased from around 24 million litre per day (MLD) to over 25.5 MLD due to the scorching weather conditions.
