Guv appoints Kanyashree Univ interim VC after CM warning
Governor C V Ananda Bose appointed Diamond Harbour Women's University interim vice-chancellor Kajal De as the interim VC of Kanyashree University at Krishnagore in Nadia on Wednesday midnight. The move came hours after chief minister Mamata Banerjee had warned vice-chancellors of state universities of "economic blockade" if they heeded to Bose, also the chancellor.
