Gurukul-like school in Kalakeri empowers marginalised kids with music 
The school is in a serene and sylvan setting, far from the cacophony of dharwad city. The founders of the school took care to ensure that the vidyalaya was constructed using ecofriendly materials, all of which were sourced locally. The school offers music lessons and conventional education to underprivileged children, free of cost. The majority of the students at the school are girls.
