GNIDA survey to check idle land, track encroachers
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is planning to conduct a comprehensive land survey to identify encroachments and gather accurate information on the land it owns. The survey will initially cover 85 villages under the authority's jurisdiction. This exercise will help in planning new projects, allotting plots, and addressing the issue of allocating abadi plots to farmers. The GNIDA will engage an agency to carry out a GIS survey and conduct drives to remove encroachments. This survey will also aid in resolving issues related to farmers and meet their demands for more abadi land.
