Farmer tries to douse crop fire, dies of burnsA 65-year-old farmer died while trying to douse a fire that engulfed his field in Maharajpur in Narwal police area of the district on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Shrikrishna Yadav, a resident of Majra Ramsalwa. Fire tenders took more than two hours to douse the flames.
