Electrocution death: Kolkata civic body to suspend one
Forty-eight hours after a 12-year-old school goer in Haridevpur died by electrocution, Kolkata Municipal Corporation on Tuesday initiated departmental proceedings against the KMC electricity department director-general Sanjay Bhowmick. Besides, the civic body has decided to suspend the sub-assistant engineer of the lighting department of ward 115, under which the area falls. Another official of the electricity department will also be under a departmental proceeding.
