Elderly man dies as rain pounds Belagavi A 65-year-old man died, and as many as 50 vehicles were left damaged in Belagavi, after gusty winds and heavy showers lashed the city on Tuesday. Vijay Kolhapure, 65, was riding his scooter on Club Road, when a tree, uprooted by the rain, landed on him, killing him on the spot.
