Drink driving: Face licence suspension in 24 hours in Kolkata
The police are now initiating the process of suspending driving licences within 24 hours, with help from the transport department, if drivers are caught drink driving or found talking over the phone. Various RTOs, like the one at Behala, are ensuring that the temporary suspensions get completed in less than seven working days.
