Delhi University will not conduct separate PhD entrance exams like JNU, per Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh, awaiting UGC guidance after NTA cancelled UGC NET. JNU may revert to in-house tests. UGC March 27, 2024 notification allows NET scores for PhD from 2024-25. UGC NET determines eligibility for Assistant Professorship and JRF via CBT. PhD academic session expected to be delayed.
