Date over, but half of vehicles without HSRPs
Gautam Budh Nagar has around 7.9 lakh registered vehicles, of which 4.1 lakh (around 53%) have installed high-security registration plates (HSRPs), according to the Noida transport department. HSRPs are mandatory for all vehicles. Without them, vehicle owners face fines of Rs 5,000.
