Dakshina Kannada, Udupi get temporary respite from rain; orange alert remains
The people in the coast, at least most parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, received a temporary reprieve on Monday as the rains let up for most of the day from 6am. There was a brief moment of sunshine too and one or two hours with a long break in between.
