Dakshina Kannada consumes 2.2 crore litres of liquor every year
Guzzlers in the district are drinking like fish. On an average, the tipplers in the district guzzle around 2.2 crore litres of hard liquor every year, which is roughly 60,000 litres a day. When it comes to beer, the district on average consumes 1.4 crore litres.
