Metro routes including Green Line, Orange Line, and Purple Line are scheduled for completion in 2024. Construction projects for water supply, airport expansion, and skywalk/FOB are also planned for 2024. Additionally, several private hospitals in Kolkata are adding beds for cancer care and other specialties. Meanwhile, the city will see the introduction of a fleet of electric buses in 2024. Furthermore, the installation of underground cable ducts and the installation of Doppler weather radars in Malda and Diamond Harbour are set to be completed in 2024.
