Copious rain over past three years helps mitigate water crisis in Haveri 
have haveri for the past three years haveri district has been receiving copious rainfall as a result of which many historically arid villages now have sufficient water while more than 500 villages were coping with a water crisis four years that number has now shrunk to 68 tanks and lakes in most parts of the district are now brimming with water which is feeding agricultural fields and helping the people meet drinking water requirements furthermore premonsoon showers the district administration hopes will help forestall any crisis in 2022the rural drinking water.
