The speaker at the Republic Day celebrations in Bengaluru on Thursday said that the government is focusing on creating infrastructure in the tourist hub to generate employment. He said that the bypass roads at Bidadi, Ramanagara, and Channapatna have been completed, and that the government is looking at promoting tourism in the region. Rs 5 crore has been extended for development of Tripurasundari Temple of Muguru in T Narasipuram, and Rs 9970 crore has been invested to build the airport in the Malnad. Rs 20 crore has been extended for the construction of a Threestar Hotel near Yagachi
