Cong brass did not ask for a single paisa: Siddaramaiah
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has dismissed allegations that the Congress party has been using the state as an "ATM" to fund elections in other states. He stated that the Congress high command has not asked for any money from the state unit. The Income Tax Department recently conducted raids on government contractors and real estate developers, seizing cash and assets. Siddaramaiah said that these allegations are baseless and politically motivated, and that the source of the money should be investigated by the tax authorities. He also dismissed claims made by the BJP.
